HexaForce

Privacy notice

This is an English translation of our Slovak privacy notice (Ochrana osobných údajov). The Slovak version is the legally binding one. If you notice a difference between the two versions, write to us and we will correct it. Your rights under the GDPR are the same whichever version you read.

We collect the minimum, sell nothing and track no one. Here’s exactly what, why and for how long.

1. Who processes your data

The controller is SASORI s. r. o., with its registered office at P. O. Hviezdoslava 240/22, 960 01 Zvolen, Slovakia, Company ID (IČO) 54 316 677, Tax ID (DIČ) 2121629983. We are not registered for VAT.

For data protection matters, write to [email protected].

We have not appointed a data protection officer (DPO); the scope of our processing does not require one.

2. What data we process and on what basis

Hexagram (a six-force test)

Data: the name you enter when you take the Oath, your email address, six summary scores, the name given to your result and a sequential number. Your individual answers to the questions are evaluated in your browser and do not leave it. Only the six final numbers are sent to the server.
Purpose: to deliver your Seal and number, and to be able to show you your Seal again.
Legal basis: performing what you asked us to do (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
How long: until you ask for erasure, and no longer than three years from your last activity.

Launch announcement

Data: your email address.
Purpose: to let you know once, when we launch what you asked to hear about. We send you nothing else.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Giving consent is voluntary.
How it works: after you enter your address, we send you one email with a confirmation link. Until you click it, we send you nothing more and your address is not on the list.
How long: until you unsubscribe. You can do that with one click in every email.
HexaForce letters are a separate subscription, directly on Substack. Substack handles both signing up and unsubscribing, under its own rules.

IP address

Data: IP address at the moment you submit a form or the Hexagram.
Purpose: to be able to prove that consent was given (required by Art. 7(1) GDPR) and to protect the forms against mass abuse.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and compliance with the obligation to prove consent.
How long: 30 days for an unconfirmed sign-up; for a confirmed subscription, as long as your consent lasts.

When you write to us

Data: your email address and the content of your message.
Purpose: to reply to you.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in replying when you contact us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
How long: as long as needed to handle your question, and no longer than two years from the last message.

Buying a course

This section will take effect on the day sales launch. Until then, we process no billing or payment data, because we are not selling anything.

3. Who we pass your data to

We do not sell data, and we do not provide it for third-party marketing. We pass it only to those without whom the service would not work:

4. Transfers outside the European Union

Our website host (Cloudflare, Inc.) and our email delivery provider (Resend, Inc.) are both US companies. However, they process your data in the European Union: the database that holds email addresses and Seals is stored in Western Europe, and emails are sent from servers in Ireland. With both companies, we have concluded standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

5. Cookies and tracking

This website uses no cookies or tracking tools. We have no analytics, no advertising scripts and nothing from third parties. All fonts, scripts and images are stored on our server. That’s why you won’t find a cookie consent banner here: there’s nothing to consent to.

The only exception: when you start the Hexagram, your progress and then your result (six scores, its name and the number) are saved directly in your browser (localStorage), so you don’t have to start over and so we can show you your Seal again. Your name and email address are not stored in the browser. This data is not sent anywhere, and you can delete it by clearing your browser data.

6. Automated decision-making

We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects: nothing that would grant or deny you anything. The Hexagram calculates six scores from your answers and gives them a name. It is a simple sum, not an assessment, and it does not affect what we offer you or at what price.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access to your data and the rights to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, as well as the right to object to processing. If we process data on the basis of your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.

Just write to the address above. We will handle your request without undue delay, within one month at the latest. You can unsubscribe yourself using the link in any of our emails; we will erase your Seal and scores manually on request.

If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Galvaniho 7/B, 821 04 Bratislava, Slovakia (dataprotection.gov.sk).

8. Do you have to give us your data?

No. You can browse the website without entering anything. We need your data only when you want to receive your Seal, get the launch announcement or buy a course. Without it, none of this is possible.

9. Changes

If anything changes, we will update this document and change the date below. We will also announce significant changes by email to the people they affect.
